Community health program

In rural Nepal advanced medicine and treatment is at an all-time low, mostly due to the superstition and culture differences of the local communities. With our community health program it is our goal to drastically change this by educating the local people of the various health benefits that modern medicine brings. Our medical staff placed in various day clinics will guide you how to educate the local communities and your role will also be in assisting the medical staff and depending on your expertise provide basic health training and guidance to the community. Visiting the schools, children’s groups, etc. it is your duty to start a health survey and monitor the process in the local community. This kind of volunteer work does not only save lives but also helps in modernizing health care in rural Nepal.
