Nepal in the Himalayan lap has always been a sacred retreat center for religious practices. The internal strife and invasion adversely effected dissemination of Buddhism in the place of its origin (Border of India and Nepal). The mountainous country of Nepal became safe haven for Buddhist practice for centuries. Kathmandu and its periphery have hundreds of meditation caves, monasteries and stupas related with Bodhisattvas, Shiddhas and Buddha. Here one can find meditation caves of Guru Padmaswambhava, Milarepa, Naropa and Tilopa. The Maratika cave of Halesi and Namobuddha are two most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites outside Kathmandu. Most importantly, the birth place of Lord Buddha, Lumbini falls at present in Nepal. Over 60 archaeological sites have been identified around Lumbini including the only surviving, unexcavated Buddha relic Stupa of Ramgram.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu, Overnight at Hotel

Day 3: Sightseeing Patan City and Namobuddha
Day 4: Kathmandu Lumbini (30min Flight / 280kms, 8 hrs drive)
Day 5: Sightseeing at Lumbini, Explore the Monasteries, Temples and the archaeological site of the old palace
Day 6: Lumbini to Kathmandu
Day 7: Pharping Monastery
Day 8: Departure to onward destination

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu, Overnight at Hotel

Arrival in Kathmandu Airport and warm welcome by our representative from Dragon Holidays Pvt. Ltd, transfer to hotel ,free time later short information about the tour and evening dinner in local restaurant .Overnight at Hotel

Day 2 : Full Day Sightseeing of World heritage Cultural Sites (Swoyambhunath Stupa, Bouddhanath stupa. Kapan Monastery)

After breakfast at hotel process sightseeing to Swoyambhunath Stupa (Monkey temple), Bouddhanath stupa (South Asian Biggest stupa), launch and Kapan Monastery for meditation. Evening transfer to Hotel .Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 3 : Sightseeing Patan City and Namobuddha

After breakfast at hotel heading to Patan city for Hiranya Varna Mahavir, Rudra Varna Mahavir sightseeing, drive to Namobuddha. Transfer to hotel, visit monastery. Overnight at Namobuddha.

Day 4 : Kathmandu Lumbini (30min flight /280kms, 9-10hrs drive)

Morning drive to Kathmandu Airport, fly to Bhairahawa and drive to Lumbini or drive to Lumbini by private Ac car Transfer to Hotel. Overnight Stay in the hotel in Lumbini.

Day 5 : Sightseeing at Lumbini, Explore the Monasteries, Temples and the archaeological site of the old palace

After breakfast, Visit the sacred garden/ pond/Maya Devi temple/ monasteries and temples built by many countries as China/ Thailand /Burma/Sirlanka/Korea/ Germany / France/Japan and Many more. Visit peace lamp and other centers as library museum and more. Drive to Tilaurakot the archaeological site of the old palace where Buddha had grown up. Overnight stay in the hotel in Lumbini.

Day 6 : Lumbini to Kathmandu

After breakfast drive to Gautam Buddha Airport, Bhairahawa. Fly to Kathmandu or Drive back to Kathmandu by private vehicle around 9-10 hours. Transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Kathmandu

Day 7 : Pharping Monastery

After breakfast, drive to Pharping Monastery, explore the village meet with the typical Nepal people, Buddhist monks, you can take part in religious practice and back to hotel. Launch and time for shopping. Overnight at Kathmandu
