The Annapurna Base Camp trek is one of the classical and most scenic treks in Nepal. The trek passes through spectacular and tranquil landscapes, charming Gurung and Magar villages, pathways filled with colorful Rhododendron, lush green forest bamboo and alpine forests truly The Annapurna Base Camp trek offers it all. At the trip’s final destination the Annapurna Base Camp at the height of 4130m where you can achieve a feeling of peace and become one with the beautiful nature of the mighty Annapurna’s.
This itinerary is based on average trekking performance, according to your own pace the itinerary may be changed. Note that other routes are also available for this trek to make it shorter/longer according to your own vacation time, please inform us during your booking

Day 1 : ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU

Airport pickup and transfer to the hotel
After hotel check in we meet at our office for a meet and greet and your trek preparation
Overnight stay at the hotel

Day 2 : KATHMANDU TO POKHARA (LAKE SIDE CITY) BY AC TOURIST BUS (6-7 HOURS DRIVE)

Hotel breakfast & check out
We have an early departure (7 am) from Kathmandu to Pokhara by AC tourist bus
The bus stops at several places for a 5 minute break and at the highroad restaurant for our lunch
After arrival in Pokhara bus park we can take a taxi or go by foot to the hotel ( 15 min walking distance)
Hotel check in and the rest of the day is free
Overnight stay at the hotel

Day 3 : POKHARA (LAKE SIDE CITY) DRIVE TO NAYAPUL (1011m/3317ft.) & TREK TO GHANDRUK (1940m/6360 ft.)

Early hotel breakfast and check out
Drive by AC vehicle to Nayapul (+-1 hour)
Trek to Birethanti (about 2 km)
Upwards trek to Ghandruk
Dinner and overnight stay at the local tea house

Day 4 : GHANDRUK (1940m/6360 ft.) TO CHHOMRONG (2170m/7120ft)

Breakfast and departure
Upwards climb to Kimrung Danda
Steep descent to the Kimrong Khola (river)
Steep ascent to Chere Danda
Descent to Chhomrong
Dinner and overnight stay at the local tea house

Day 5 : CHHOMRONG (2170m/7120ft) TO BAMBOO (2310m/7578ft)

Breakfast and departure
Descend to the bridge crossing of the Chhomrong Khola (river)
Uphill climb to Sinuwa
Relaxing forest trail, flat downhill walk to Bamboo
Dinner and overnight stay at the local tea house

Day 6 : BAMBOO (2310m/7578ft) TO DEURALI (3230m/10,595ft)

Breakfast and departure
Bamboo forest pass
Ascend to the Himalaya Hotel
Climb through the Hinku Cave
Downwards hike to Deurali
Dinner and overnight stay at the local tea house

Day 7 : DEURALI (3230m/10,595ft) TO ABC (ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP) (4,130m/13,545ft) VIA MBC (MACHHAPUCHHRE BASE CAMP) (3700m/12135ft)

Ascend to Bagar
Long hike to MBC
Ascend to ABC
Dinner and overnight stay at the local tea house

Day 8 : ABC (ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP) (4,130m/13,545ft) TO BAMBOO (2310m/7578ft)

Descend to MBC
Downhill hike to Deurali
Descend to Bamboo
Dinner and overnight stay at the local tea house

Day 9 : BAMBOO (2310m/7578ft) TO JHINU DANDA HOT SPRINGS (1760m/5770 ft.)

Breakfast and departure
Uphill trek to Sinuwa
Downhill walk to the Chhomrong Khola (river)
Small climb by stone steps to Chhomrong
Descend to Jhinu Danda and check in
Option to visit the healing hot springs of Jhinu Danda
Dinner and overnight stay at the local tea house

Day 10 : JHINU DANDA (1760m/5770 ft.) TREK TO NAYAPUL (1011m/3317ft.) DRIVE TO POKHARA (LAKESIDE CITY) (6 hours trek, 1 hour drive)

Breakfast and departure
Downwards trek to New Bridge
Following the Modhi Khola (river) to Kuymi
Flat hike to Syauli Bazar
Follow the road to NayaPul
Drive back to Pokhara and hotel check in
Rest of the time free for personal sightseeing/ souvenir shopping
Overnight stay at the hotel

Day 11 : POKHARA (LAKESIDE CITY) RELAXING DAY

This is a relaxing day to explore, shop for souvenirs and/or enjoy other activities that Pokhara has to offer.
For other activities such as paragliding, helicopter tours bungee jumping or even one of the world’s longest zip line rides please inquire through the booking section (note that for these activities additional costs will be calculated)

Day 12 : POKHARA (LAKESIDE CITY) TO KATHMANDU BY AC TOURIST BUS (6-7 hour drive)

Hotel check out
Drive back to Kathmandu by AC tourist bus
Lunch on the way at the highway restaurant
Hotel check in
We meet back at the travel office for your vacation review
Rest of the day free for souvenir shopping/ personal sightseeing
Farewell dinner with a live Nepali culture show
Overnight stay at the hotel

Day 13 : KATHMANDU DEPARTURE

Airport transfer by AC vehicle 3 hours before departure
